This is a big one. But I feel like it had to be because it’s always so dramatic in the song. Stay with me. Instead of rings, everyone will admire your energy and clairvoyance over eggnog.
Grab your timer again and set it for five minutes. Sit in a comfortable seated position and close your eyes. Find your breath again and feel your inhales fill your body and your exhales empty it. If you know meditation techniques, please apply them at will. For those of you new to meditation, just focus on your breath. Thoughts will arise and interrupt your focus, but noticing the thoughts and pulling yourself back into your breath is the perfect practice of mediation.
If the word ‘meditate’ makes you nervous, just go back to your one minute pranayam, but try for two. Easy as pie.
